Maracom Limited is the data controller for the purposes of data protection legislation. The purpose of this Policy and any other documents referred to in it, is to clearly identify and list the legal requirements, procedures and rights which must be established when we obtain, process, transfer and/or store your personal data. This Notice will assist you in understanding the obligations, responsibilities and rights which arise from the Data Protection Laws.

The information we collect may include your personal information, such as your name, contact information, date of birth, employment details, IP addresses, NINO, health and other personal information. We collect personal information from you at different points including but not limited to the following:
- When we make an offer of employment;
- During the course of your employment with Maracom;
- When you visit our premises for Health and Safety reasons;
Our Use of your Personal Information
The Company may use the information we collect about you to:
- To fulfil our contractual and statutory obligations and responsibilities in regards to your employment;
- Keep up to date contact information about you for Health and Safety reasons;
- For registering you under the Company Gassafe registration;
- For reporting accidents to our Insurers;
- To respond to your requests, queries and problems;
Our Disclosure of your Personal Information to Third Parties
We may share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy:
- we will provide your information to HMRC, The Pension Regulator, our Bank to make payments to you and any other statutory bodies that we are required to;
- we will provide your information to GasSafe;
- we may provide your information to training companies if required to enable identity checks to be carried out.
Our Security measure to Protect your Personal Information
We have systems in place to help protect information under our control from the risk of accidental or unlawful access, alteration or destruction. We operate under stringent privacy controls and data access pass wording.

We will retain any personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the business purpose for which it was collected. We will use your personal information for as long as necessary to comply with our statutory and legal obligations, to resolve any disputes and enforce contracts.

Access to your personal information may be provided on request made to the Company at no cost. If for any reason access is restricted or cannot be provided we will provide an explanation as to why this is. You have the right to rectify any inaccuracies in the personal data we hold and the right to have personal data amended or erased provided we are able to meet our statutory and legal obligations.
